Comedian and junior doctor Ed Patrick makes his much anticipated Edinburgh Fringe Festival debut this year with his show Junior Optimist.

Patrick will treat audiences to a first-hand account of experiences and challenges he's faced while working for the NHS, material which has led to art critic Bruce Dessau advising him to 'quit medicine and do stand-up' and has also been described by Chortle.co.uk as 'Masterful, playfully provocative writing'. Already a Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year finalist (2016) and Paramount Funniest Student finalist, Patrick's set to make his mark on the comedy scene.
