British barrister and lawyer Michael Mansfield has been announced as patron for charity The Kaleidoscope Plus Group, and will help to promote positivity about mental health and wellbeing.

Mansfield commented 'I feel very proud and honoured to have become a patron of a charity that does such fantastic work both regionally and nationally which often goes unnoticed. Mental wellbeing has always been a concern of mine and this became particularly acute with the suicide of my daughter Anna in the spring of 2015'.
