Roar hitmaker Katy Perry has teamed up with stationers Staples to boost the retailer's long term commitment to support education and teachers in the US, by asking the public to make a donation to help classrooms fund much needed equipment.

Donations can be made online or at a Staples store and Perry commented 'I believe in education as a foundation for a great life, so I want to make sure that students across the country are inspired by their teachers and afforded every opportunity to realise their dreams'.
