Surrey based Caroline Simionescu-Marin is quickly becoming a prominent influencer in UK music through a number of editorial and broadcast platforms and her knowledge of the music industry has also led to her being recognised as a tastemaker by some of the scene’s top labels.

At the age of 21, she has already established herself as editor of GRM Daily, the UK’s most popular online urban music channel with over 130,000 followers on Twitter, launched the New Gen show on Radar Radio and joined independent record label, XL Recordings, as an A&R manager. In 2015, Caroline and a team of creatives from Disrupt, hosted the Rated Awards at Troxy in east London, which recognised up and coming independent musicians in urban music including Stormzy and Kano.
