Dr Prof Hannah Fry is one of the coolest mathematicians in the business.

Not only is she a lecturer at UCL, studying the patterns of human behaviour particularly in urban settings, but she has been growing her profile on numerous BBC shows, including BBC Two’s Six Degrees and a documentary about Lady Ada Lovelace. She also featured in the television show How To Find Love Online with Dr Xand van Tulleken, which allowed her to delve into her area of expertise, following her hit 2014 book (launched by TED and based on her New York TED talk) The Mathematics of Love. She is set to star in more BBC shows including one about trainspotting, as well as her new BBC Radio 4 podcast with Adam Rutherford about scientific sleuthing.
