Michelin-starred chef Tom Kitchin has been named the official ambassador for The Spartans Community Football Academy and has helped launch its Spartans AM, the Academy's first weekend breakfast club, providing young children from across five north Edinburgh primary schools with a healthy breakfast and a place to get together on Saturday mornings.

Kitchin commented 'I'm really proud to be an ambassador for Spartan's Community Football Academy. As a father of four myself, I know how important it is for young people to have a healthy, nutritious breakfast, so Spartans AM is an initiative I'm incredibly passionate about and I really admire what the team are setting out to do'.
