American dancer and choreographer Brian Friedman has been announced as an ambassador for Starlight Children's Foundation, which grants wishes for seriously and terminally ill children and provides entertainment in hospitals and hospices across the UK.

Friedman, who will help the charity grant wishes, attend Starlight's Escape Days, and help raise the charity's profile during its 30th birthday year, commented 'I am honoured and beyond grateful to be given the opportunity to become an ambassador. After attending my first Starlight event and seeing the joy in these beautiful children, I wanted to get more involved. I cannot wait to continue to help grant wishes for them, as they warmed my heart in a way I never imagined'.
