Grime music culture has continued to move into the mainstream in recent years, with visual documentation playing a major role in that - and photographer Vicky Grout has made a significant contribution to that movement.

Born in Poland, and now residing in London, the 19 year old began shooting after finding her parents' old Olympus MJU 2 camera at the age of 14, and three years later she combined her passion for photography with her infatuation with grime. Grout started documenting the genre’s progression from the front line at live shows and after her images were recognised by the scene's tastemakers, she went on to shoot artists such as Skepta, Kano, Stormzy, Krept & Konan, A$AP Rocky and Drake at gigs and for editorial shoots. She’s also shot for brands including adidas and Nike FC and is quickly becoming one of the most sought after young photographers in the UK music and fashion scenes.
