Dutch/Iranian singer Sevdaliza could possibly be the only female professional basketball player who left the sport in favour of a career in music.

Setting the music industry alight following her career change, her icy tones and chunky beats have earned her fans at BBC Radio, often gaining comparisons to Icelandic star Björk. After making the cross over from basketball, Sevdaliza teamed up with producer Stwo on cult hit single Men of Glass, from her critically acclaimed 2015 EP Children of Silk. Having already performed at SXSW this year, the singer is set to continue tearing up the stage at summer festivals throughout 2016.
