Uganda born British entrepreneur and founder of online urban music channel Link Up TV, Rashid Kasirye, is quickly becoming a prominent influencer in independent music, providing a platform for unsigned and emerging talent to use as a catalyst to launch their music careers.

At the age of 17, Kasirye began shooting music videos and set the wheels in motion to create his own entertainment channel which now has 1m likes on Facebook, almost 1m subscribers on YouTube and over 300m views. Documenting the careers of the likes of Wretch 32 and Stormzy, as well as breaking a number of up and coming artists, Link Up TV is recognised as one of the most popular online urban music publications and as its CEO, Kasirye is making his mark as a significant tastemaker on the scene.
