Multi-talented Miles Joris-Peyrafitte promises to the next big thing in indie filmmaking after wowing critics and audiences alike at Sundance.
At 23 he became one of the youngest directors ever to be in competition at the festival, at the start of this year, with his tense 90s set teen drama As You Are, which won the festival's Special Jury Award. The Bard college grad - who studied under acclaimed filmmaker Kelly Reichardt - directed, co-wrote, acted in and co-scored the film, leading to him being courted by a number of talent agencies, with WME finally signing him. He's now working on his next film, which he'll both write and direct, with all details currently under wraps.
