Zoolander star Ben Stiller has spoken out in support of refugees after meeting three families in Berlin with the UN Refugee Agency alongside his wife Christine.
One couple made the crossing from Iraq to Europe a month after the birth of their twin daughters, another described the fear they felt when separated from their young children on their crossing over the Aegean Sea, and the third emphasised the importance of their 11 year old son's education. Stiller commented 'These people have a lot in common with all of us. They are hard-working and educated and really just want the best for their kids' futures. I can't imagine having to risk my child's life on such a dangerous journey just because there are no legal routes to reach safety'.
