Emerging from the Brooklyn music scene, the atmospheric, nostalgic and grungy ballads of indie folk-rock duo Beau has attracted the attention of the fashion elite.

Consisting of childhood friends Heather Golden Schwalb and Emma Rose, the group wrapped up French fashion house Chloé's last season show and have also released five songs with edgy Parisian clothing and music label Kitsuné. Now, the pair’s new single, Animal Kingdom, is rapidly catching the attention of music critics ahead of the release of their debut album The Reality Thing, out March 11. Schwalb and Rose – who wrote the album in New York but recorded it in between Nashville and London with Shoreditch-based producer Alan O'Connell - formed their band at 13 and describe their working relationship as 'having the taste of home with you always'.
