British military historian, TV presenter, and author Dan Snow has been announced as the latest celebrity ambassador for Armed Forces charity SSAFA.

Snow commented 'SSAFA gives vital support to our Armed Forces, veterans and their families. They are the first point of contact for those in need, assisting with the very real issues facing the serving community each and every day. The charity has a unique 130 year history, having been in existence throughout both World Wars and every conflict since, which I find fascinating from both a professional and personal perspective'.
