Holly Müller's debut novel My Own Dear Brother is scheduled for release February 2 (via Bloomsbury, the home of literary authors including Margaret Atwood, Michael Ondaatje and Donna Tartt).

My Own Dear Brother is set in Nazi controlled Austria, opening in 1944 as 13 year old Ursula Hildesheim's life changes when Russian men escape from the local concentration camp, her mother begins an affair, and her brother forms an allegiance with the Hitler Youth. A cleverly plotted coming of age story that explores the nature of human cruelty in wartime alongside the troubled, complicated relationships in Ursula's own family, this novel is atmospheric, intelligent and sure to leave a mark on every reader's heart. Müller is based in Cardiff and balances her writing alongside her work as a musician in Hail! The Planes and as a creative writing tutor at the University of South Wales.
