With two roles on the small screen in the works, alongside both British and American household names, up-and-coming British actress Simona Brown is set to be a name to remember.

Towards the end of 2015, Brown got started on new A+E Networks mini-series Roots - the story of a fictional slave and his descendants - a show which will see the actress star alongside the likes of Forest Whitaker, Anna Paquin, Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Laurence Fishburne. This year the talented youngster has gone on to cement that success after being cast in ITV's anticipated new three-part 'domestic horror' HIM, alongside Corrie star Katherine Kelly. If that wasn't impressive enough, the newcomer has previously had roles in AMC series The Night Manager, the BBC's The Casual Vacancy, and last year made her feature film debut in Man Up, starring Simon Pegg and Lake Bell.
