British journalist and TV presenter Jon Snow has joined forces with children's communication charity I CAN, presenting a broadcast appeal for the charity on BBC Radio 4 on January 24.

Snow commented 'Too often taken for granted, communication is the fundamental skill children and young people need to learn, make friends and develop the needed to manage emotions and behaviour. It's a great opportunity to help raise awareness of I CAN's work to make sure no child is left out or left behind because of a difficulty speaking or understanding'.
