Having graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in 2011, it's hard to believe Krista Marie Yu has already made quite an impression on the acting world.

After moving to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career, this talented newcomer from Berkeley, California, soon landed small parts in NBC's Parenthood and Nickelodeon's The Thundermans. This quickly led to her securing her first full time role in ABC's drama Dr Ken this year, playing the role of Ken Jeong's daughter Molly. As well as suddenly becoming a household name on TV overnight, Yu has also appeared in feature film Love the Coopers in 2015, starring opposite Ed Helms and Olivia Wilde, and is also set to star in film 6 Miranda Drive alongside Kevin Bacon. With her acting credits continuing to grow and with more projects in the pipeline, there is just no stopping this rising star.
