Welsh TV presenter Matt Johnson has launched the #paws4xmas campaign to support and raise money for RSPCA, urging people to share pictures of their animals enjoying the build up to Christmas with the hashtag #paws4xmas and donating £3 to the animal charity.

Johnson, who recently visited two RSPCA centres, commented 'I was in my local coffee shop one morning and saw a dog in a Christmassy jumper and I just thought there must be a way to get our pets involved in fundraising for animals less fortunate in the run up to Christmas. I really hope everyone gets behind this campaign and puts their pictures online to support #paws4xmas and the fantastic work of the RSPCA'.
