Pink announced as UNICEF ambassador

30 11 2015

Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Pink has been named ambassador for UNICEF, and will encourage families across the United States to 'get active and save lives with UNICEF Kid Power', educate the public about the charity's global health and nutrition programmes, and highlight UNICEF's role in fighting global malnutrition, which impacts 159 million children worldwide.

Pink commented 'As a mom myself, it's devastating to know that children are suffering because they don't have adequate nutrition. All children should be able to grow up strong and healthy, with the opportunity to reach their full potential'.
