The Cybersmile Foundation has announced American actress Katie Cassidy as its latest ambassador.

Cassidy, recognised for her role as the 'Black Canary' aka Laurel Lance on TV series Arrow, will work with the charity to help raise awareness of the issues of cyberbullying and digital abuse. She commented 'We all want to feel safe in our environment. It's important we support those that are bullied online to help us work towards building our children a happier, healthier online environment'.
