Brooklyn-based, Yale educated, Jessica Tom has seen interest in her debut book, FOOD WHORE: A Novel of Dining & Deceit, skyrocket since its release.

The work is a clever insider take on the world of New York City’s dining scene - think Devil Wears Prada meets Kitchen Confidential - and the gripping tale, released earlier this year, has garnered stellar reviews and has even got people talking about a possible film adaptation. Meanwhile Tom, a former marketing and events director who spent three years studying under novelist Amy Bloom, is currently plotting her follow up to the witty novel.
