Olivier nominated director and playwright Matthew Dunster has been appointed Associate Director at Shakespeare's Globe, working alongside Artistic Director Designate Emma Rice.
Dunster, who's directed four shows at the Globe, The Frontline, Troilus and Cressida, Dr Faustus and The Lightning Child, has also worked with the RSC and at Sadler's Wells, the Royal Court, the Young Vic and the Almeida. Rice commented 'Matthew Dunster is not only one of the best directors in the country, but also an artist of great knowledge, integrity and generosity. Beloved by staff, actors and audiences alike, he is a thrilling appointment and I look forward to the many adventures we will have as we open this next chapter for Shakespeare's Globe'.
