London based Starling began her music career by covering tracks by Joni Mitchell and Bill Withers, but now she’s writing and producing songs of her own with the help of Mumford and Son’s Ben Lovett and his label Communion, which have turned out artists including Catfish and the Bottlemen.

Growing up surrounded by music, Starling cites Patti Smith and Bat For Lashes as her musical heroes, and with her dark sound and lyrics, she's often been compared to artists such as Lorde. With the success of latest single Craving and her debut EP, which included haunting tracks Wild Heart and Misfit, Starling's star is definitely about to soar.
