Belfast born actor, writer and film director Sir Sir Kenneth Branagh has been announced as the new Northern Ireland ambassador of the film education charity Into Film.

Branagh, who is an advocate for young people and the arts, champions the Into Film message to use film as a educational tool in and out of the classroom, and added 'I'm delighted to be an ambassador for Into Film in Northern Ireland, and keen to highlight what a wonderful resource it can be for young people in a country very close to my heart'.
