Actress and presenter Scarlette Douglas has been announced as the new presenter for Channel 4's A Place in the Sun.

Douglas, who's bought, renovated and sold three properties in and around London, commented that she's 'thrilled' to join the show, and if she were to invest in a property abroad she says 'It would have to be in Jamaica. It's the country my parents were born and raised in and it's beautiful. Blue skies, white sandy beaches, clear waters and delicious food, it's my idea of paradise'.
