Sketch group Daphne has become one of the breakout hits of this year's Edinburgh Fringe, with debut show Daphne Do Edinburgh gaining a string of sold out shows and four star reviews from The Independent, The Guardian and Chortle.

Comprised of Phil Wang, Jason Forbes and George Fouracres, the trio met at Cambridge Footlights - which also united duos Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry and David Mitchell and Robert Webb - and have created a show that deconstructs sketch comedy with a 'leftfield approach' (Independent) that keeps the material intelligent, funny and surprising with sketches inspired by Radio 4, Shakespeare and art forgery. After winning the Best New Act award from this year's London SketchFest Competition and hosting the popular Nova Nova night at The Cockpit in London, Daphne's sure to join Pappy's, Max & Ivan and Lazy Susan as one of the most talked about sketch comedy groups on the circuit.
