Bradford born comedian Jonny Pelham is one of the standout stars of this year's Edinburgh Festival having been named one of the Guardian's funniest newcomers with his debut show Before and After.

The show - which has also gained a range of four and five star reviews from publications including the Mirror and Fest Mag - reflects on Pelham's childhood, growing up as the only white boy in his group of friends at school, dealing with his therapist parents, and his experiences with rare condition popliteal pterygium syndrome, which led to him being offered £30k of cosmetic surgery from the NHS that he was previously unaware he needed. Pelham's show has been the subject of rave reviews from both comedy critics and Fringe fans, described as a 'solid parade of laughs' by Chortle and 'geeky and awkward, but hilariously honest' by Ed Fest Mag. With excellent comic timing and phrasing that far surpasses the topic of his medical quirks, Pelham has a bright future and plenty more Edinburgh shows ahead of him.
