British actress Chelsee Healey has been appointed as the ambassador for the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships, September 16-20.

Healey, who completed a trek down the Zambezi River as part of a Comic Relief challenge in 2013, said 'It's fantastic that the ICF World Championships are coming to our capital city and being held at the Lee Valley White Water Centre - the very venue of the London 2012 Olympic games and where team GB achieved medal success back in 2012. If you haven't experienced canoe slalom before, you're really missing out'.
