Hairstylist and makeup expert Lou Teasdale, best known for her work with One Direction, has been announced as the new Beauty Extremist columnist at ELLE UK.

Teasdale tweeted that she's 'excited' to join the team, while ELLE said 'We're delighted to welcome Lou to the ELLE beauty fold and can't wait to share her brazen experiments and adventures in hair, skincare and makeup with you here, starting later this week'. Teasdale is also known for her social media presence, with over 2.2 million followers on Instagram, and released a style book, The Craft, 2014.
