London based soul/blues band The King's Parade have made us sit up and take notice thanks to their crossover sound of pop and classic Detroit blues.

The quartet - who started off as the house band on a Hawaiian cruise liner - first made headlines in 2014 after they were arrested for busking in Leicester Square, shortly after being dubbed 'London's best buskers' by Mayor Boris Johnson. Fortunately not hindered by this, a residency at Ronnie Scott's followed for the lads, who are all in their twenties, as well as a series of gigs at festivals such as The Great Escape, Bestival and Reeperbhan Festival. They're now set to release their debut single, Bunched Up Papers, this autumn and plan a launch party to celebrate the occasion.
