Oasis may have hit turbulent waters of late, but Richie and Jamie Martin of Dublin band Cry Monster Cry are proof that sometimes a working family relationship can run smoothly.

Cry Monster Cry came about in 2010, but 2015 has been a real breakthrough for the pair with the release of their debut album Rhythm of Dawn and a series of gigs across Ireland and the UK, including an upcoming one at The Islington in London on September 19. Cry Monster Cry credit Bob Dylan, The Everly Brothers, Van Morrison, Ray Charles and Simon and Garfunkel as early life influences on their music and are dedicated to constantly improving their songwriting craft.
