Australian-born, London-living singer Chløë Black - whose deep vocals have drawn parallels to Lana Del Rey - is making people sit up and listen following the release of her debut single 27 Club, a somewhat morbid ode to the high number of musicians who have died at the age of 27, in which she references the likes of Kurt Cobain, Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix.
With a peroxide fringe and long ebony locks, Black is a self-confessed 'romantic lover of monochrome with a French twist'. With recent performances at London's Punch Room and Camden Lock, and with a second release Cruel Intentions that we can't get out of our heads, we eagerly await some new dates and material from this singer.
