Skylar Stecker may only be 13 years old, but she is already causing a stir in the music industry, having created a massive following on her YouTube channel with 280,000 subscribers and over 25 million views.

Since self releasing EP Firecracker earlier this year, the pop singer/songwriter has been making waves, with MTV Hits tapping the American beauty for their 2015 Fresh Faces music video playlist. As well as receiving rave reviews for the record from publications such as Teen Vogue and PopCrush - particularly for the remix of song Rooftop, which featured on the EP, and climbed the Billboard Dance Club Chart - the young star also signed to Cherrytree Records in July this year. With the release of her debut album This Is Me set to drop in September 2015, it seems there is just no stopping this talented newcomer.
