Starting off his musical journey at the tender age of four, jazz pianist, composer and record producer Justin Kauflin is not at all new to the industry.

Losing his sight by the age of 11 as the result of exudative retinopathy, he went on to win the VSA International Young Soloist Award and in 2011 was a semi-finalist in the prestigious Thelonious Monk Competition. Now, with the backing of legendary jazz artist Quincy Jones, Kauflin's rise to stardom is about to go into overdrive. If that wasn't enough, as Jones's protégé he collaborated on the distinguished star's album Dedication. Eager to bring Kauflin's talent to the UK's attention, Jones recently took to the stage at Ronnie Scott's to introduce the 29 year old's performance. And now we've had a taste, us Brits are certainly eager for more.
