The Prince of Wales has been announced as Patron of World Jewish Relief, marking the first time the royal has been the Patron of a Jewish organisation working outside of the UK.
Nigel Layton, Life Vice-President of World Jewish Relief, said 'His Patronage is for our full range of work, giving a ringing endorsement to our work in combating poverty amongst the world's most vulnerable Jewish communities and reaching beyond the Jewish communities, particularly at times of natural disasters'.
