One look at Dean-John Wilson and you'll wonder why you haven't heard his name before - but fear not, this summer he'll be hitting the limelight as he takes to the stage alongside West End stars Cynthia Erivo and Jenna Russell.

Wilson has been cast in an all-new London production of triple-Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown's first musical, Songs for a New World. Set to run at London's St James Theatre in July, it's a chance to see the talented performer in action. Trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, Wilson was recently seen in The National Theatre's Oliver nominated production of Here Lies Love. Over the years, Wilson has been gradually building up a list of credits which include Here to Eternity, Super Ordinary at Soho Theatre, Union Theatre's Bare and the UK tour of Sister Act: The Musical. But it's now time for audiences to pay attention - with a buzz surrounding the 20th anniversary production of Songs for a New World - we're sure this is not the last we'll hear about Dean-John Wilson.
