A young Liam Mower first caught our attention dancing in the role of Billy Elliot - one of the first boys to play the part - in the West End, rubbing shoulders with the likes of Elton John and Idina Menzel.

Now, not so fresh-faced, but still working away as a talented performer, he's being tipped as a rising star in award winning dancer and choreographer Matthew Bourne's New Adventures dance and theatre company. Having received rave reviews for his recent role in their UK tour of Edward Scissorhands, he's now taking on the demanding role of Angelo in Bourne's The Car Man, a take on Bizet's Carmen, heading to Sadler's Wells in July.
