Australian singer and actress Jessica Mauboy has been announced as the new face of Target's womenswear, and will feature in photoshoots and event appearances with the brand over the next 12 months.

Mauboy, who was runner up on the fourth season of Australian Idol in 2006, commented 'I love fashion and having fun with clothes, so to be the new face of Target's womenswear is a dream come true. I have always shopped at Target and worn their clothes and accessories since I was a little kid, so it feels great to be part of the Target family'.
