Barcelona footballer Neymar has been announced as brand ambassador for PokerStars, and will appear in ads, attend charitable events, and make special appearances for the brand, including participating in major live and online poker tournaments.

Neymar commented 'Growing up and playing football every day has made me a competitive person. When I'm not playing football, playing poker and competing against my teammates on the road, or in home games with friends is one of my favourite things to do'. PokerStars has also worked with Ronaldo and Rafael Nadal.
