Wrecking Ball singer Miley Cyrus has officially launched the Happy Hippie Foundation, which aims to 'fight the injustices' faced by homeless, LGBT and vulnerable youths, by uploading the first of her #HappyHippiePresents: Backyard Sessions videos alongside Joan Jett.
Cyrus, who said she was inspired by the reaction when she asked a homeless man to accept her Video of the Year trophy at the 2014 Video Music Awards, and later the suicide of transgender youth Leelah Alcorn in December, aims to use the Backyard Sessions to 'create digital support groups for LGBT youth and their families'.
