Radio 6 Music presenter Lauren Laverne and former Cosmopolitan and Red magazine editor Sam Baker have teamed up to launch a new online platform, The Pool, which features writing, audio and video aimed at women.

Other journalists and writers will contribute to the site, including comedian and writer Viv Groskop, who will be recording an agony aunt podcast, while former The Times and Evening Standard writer Laura Craik will pen a weekly fashion column.
