Acclaimed director Guillermo del Toro, best known for films including Pan's Labyrinth and Hellboy, is to release his first children's book, Trollhunters, published by Hot Key Books in the UK.

Co-written with Daniel Kraus, the horror adventure for teens and adults follows 14 year old Jim Jnr as children go missing in his California town amid rumours of trolls. Editor Tilda Johnson said 'Trollhunters is effortlessly engaging' and that the novel has 'a chill that won't disappoint!'. Release date June 30.
