London based journalist Rosie Birkett is no stranger to writing about the country's top chefs and various cuisines, having had her work published in The Guardian, The Independent and Waitrose Kitchen.

Now the food obsessed writer, who's currently a restaurant reviewer for video app and website 60 Second Reviews, is set to make a name for herself for her own culinary skills, not just her writing, with the release of her debut cookbook, A Lot on her Plate, which is published by Hardie Grant this spring. It features over 80 fun and creative dishes, and with already glowing reviews from chefs Tom Kerridge and Gizzi Erskine, who described Birkett as an 'exciting new voice in food', there's no stopping this talented rising star.
