Canadian native Tobias Jesso Jr is one of the very few people Adele has promoted on Twitter.

The 29 year old pianist moved from Vancouver to Los Angeles to make it in the music industry but it was the Skyfall singer's tweet (her first for 2015) promoting his video for single How Could You Babe, that prompted 131,000 people (and counting) to view his work. Jesso, 29, has spent the past 12 months working on his debut album Goon - due for release March 16 - with the help of producers Ariel Rechtshaid, the Black Keys's Patrick Carney and Chet 'JR' White from Girls. Shortly after starting work with White, Jesso signed to True Panther and performed at several shows around the US. With fans including Adele and Chris Taylor of Grizzly Bear, the artist is set to take the industry by storm and tours Europe in May, along with an appearance at The Great Escape festival.
