X Men and Skins actor Nicholas Hoult has been announced as an ambassador for basketball team Reading Rockets.

Hoult, who used to play for the team, said 'I enjoy playing basketball and spent some great years playing with the Rockets in my teenage years while I was developing my acting career. They are a fantastic family run club and a valued part of the local community, as well as a benchmark for basketball clubs in the UK... As an ambassador for the Rockets, I look forward to supporting their development and giving something back to the club who supported me'.
