Coronation Street actress Kym Marsh has lent her support to the British Heart Foundation's DECHOX campaign, encouraging people to give up chocolate for the month of March and raise money for the charity through sponsorship.
Marsh, whose father has suffered from a cardiac arrest and heart attack, and son David contracted a heart infection last year, said 'You never think something like heart disease is going to happen to you or someone you love... That's why I'm encouraging everyone to join me and take part in the new BHF fundraising campaign, DECHOX... It's going to be difficult for people who love chocolate, like me, but we'll all be in it together and it's for such a great cause'.
