British dressage rider Charlotte Dujardin has been appointed as global ambassador for equine welfare charity The Brooke, of which The Duchess of Cornwall is President.
Dujardin commented 'I'm very proud to be associated with a cause that is committed to making a real difference to the lives of animals that are less fortunate than those we have here in the UK. I look forward to sharing more with you soon'. The charity currently operates in 11 countries around the world and aims to help improve the welfare of working horses, donkeys and mules that 'support the livelihoods of over 600 million people globally'.
