Melissa Rivers, daughter of the late Joan Rivers, has signed a deal with Crown Publishing - a subsidiary of Penguin Random House - to release a book, which charts the pair's mother and daughter relationship.
The Book of Joan: Tales of Mirth, Mischief, and Manipulation, released May 5, includes 'funny, poignant, and irreverent observations, thoughts, and tales'. Rivers commented 'In our family we always believed that laughter was the best medicine... I wanted to write a book that would make my mother laugh. I hope it makes you laugh, too'.
