Journalist Laura Barnett has enjoyed success as an arts critic for major publications including The Guardian, the Daily Telegraph and Time Out but is set for much bigger things with the release of her debut novel in the spring of 2015.

Touted as this year's One Day, Barnett's love story The Versions of Us, inspired by her student days at Cambridge University, was at the centre of a six publisher bidding war and has now been sold to 14 other countries. Having already written a guide for actors Advice For The Players and a series of award-winning short stories, the 32 year old author isn't letting the prospect of global stardom go to her head and is busy at work on her second novel Greatest Hits.
